Resources for Self-Care during COVID-19

We've talked to so many of you during our virtual coffee talks about how you're managing during this stressful time. Something that came up was that it's been helpful for a lot of you to have something scheduled look forward to. This is as simple as scheduling a walk outside, an online fitness class, or when you're going to order your fav meal for takeout.

With that in mind, we created a comprehensive resource for you with all the things that you can do to help support yourself during this time. It’s organized by category so that you can easily find what you need when you’re looking for a balance of things to schedule!

  • Order takeout from your favorite local restaurants
  • Bake yourself dessert using ingredients in your pantry 
  • Make a new cocktail 
  • Have a date night in with yourself or your significant other and cook a new recipe from a cookbook you have lying around! 


  • Color in some adult coloring books
  • Check out an ebook or audiobook from your local library
  • Tackle a new puzzle or board game
  • Watch Some Good News with John Krasinski
  • Get your first book from Book of the Month for 9.99



  • Schedule a virtual happy hour with your family or friends 
  • Use the HouseParty app to get together with your people!
  • Watch Netflix with others via Netflix Party 
  • Do a book exchange with friends. Each pick a book to send each other that you think they would like. Option to get together and discuss after you’ve all read your books!
  • Write a handwritten letter to your grandparents or another family member


Post what you're scheduling in to take care of yourself this week on Instagram and share it with us! 

Print out this 2-week calendar, write in your self care plan, and stick it somewhere you can see it, like your bathroom mirror or your fridge!

Thanks so much! These are great ideas and resources. I feel so much more empowered now that I have something better to do than watch Tiger King on Netflix 🥰
